As things in the world continue to become more skewed and silenced, I have embraced the power of the meme. This is not the first time in history that hidden arts deliver messages and teach those that may not be aware of the surrounding truths. We can look back at the parables written by great writers and the dances that taught martial arts. In life, it is often the simple and silenced that leads to the truth.

We, as people of this world, must band together and find the truth at all costs. Extremism is not the way forward and has never led to anything but pain. The realities of those pains can be seen through history that has been widely published and generally silenced, from the wars of Japan against the Chinese to the Khans and Romans. Countless details can teach us modern lessons. The tactfulness of history could lead us to a newer and brighter future if we as a community were to ask better questions. Blindly following anything or anyone without free-thinking leads to massive repeated mistakes, and those on all sides suffer the price.

Science, history, and methods should all be challenged because that is how we find the truth. To trust things blindly would still have us drilling holes into cranial bones to fight the flu. Challenge your thoughts, assumptions, and beliefs and make a few solid memes. The more we question a common belief, the more wealth we can extract from the world and our lives.

With love,

Luis
