Discarding the outgrown aspects of life

This will be an atypical entry for me because it's something that I will write about more on the fly than normal. Have you ever found that people, places, things, and other things that are consistent in your life sometimes don’t feel relevant or useful anymore? I’ve been finding myself at that point over the last few years. People who simply don’t align with where you would like to be in life. Conversations that simply don’t help you stay aligned, nor do they motivate you to be better. People bring up topics from long ago, when you were a different person, just because they remember it fondly. Social media friends that are faceless, but always have an opinion on what you can do better, or that one family member that always has something negative to say, no matter how much you work towards in your life.

It is ok, to say no more to those things, conversations, people, or places. You don’t have to be everyone’s friend, and you don’t need to take part in every conversation that is offered to you. Frankly, even if invited, and you don’t align with things, it is ok to say no. We often get drawn into things that don't make us better. Because we are used to them. We frequently have not gone through and cut those dead parts out to help our energy to go to the places that matter most, instead of trying to keep the appearance of unity and peace with people, places, and things. It is ok to say no, enough, close the account, delete the message, and frankly not respond to the text. You don’t need the ex-relationship, partner, friend who doesn’t connect, or those who simply live to bother your spirit. You have permission and power to live in silence and peace. Likewise, you deserve the peace of mind to be without attachment, and to can move on. Your future self will thank you.

Go be powerful today.

Luis
