The over-connected roundabout

It has been a while since I sat down to write some ideas on this page. This has been mainly due to the tug and pull from both work and life demands lately. The frantic nature of working within technology and the medical field can be something that drains your mental storage, especially since now the comorbidities that we deal with have increased. These challenges have increased now that GLP-1 medications have hit the market, and it appears that the influx of medication has now hit the mainstream with many people being on them. This has produced a need to be responsive to the change, and also has introduced many intricacies and challenges that need to be addressed. This post, is not one that is focused on this topic, but I figured I would give a brief summation of why I became a ghost.

Recently, through some reflection in sessions with both providers and with private clients, I have wondered what the interconnected nature of technology has done to us. I have also started to reflect on the nature that social media platforms have been programming and escalating things to jar us into behaviors that we would typically not take. On one hand, the nature of social media such as LinkedIn and Instagram allow for a supreme amount of connectedness to work and social aspects of society.
